Nina Sampogne, 12, from Waverly, was recently named 2014-’15 Miss Pennsylvania at the Pennsylvania USA Ambassador Pageant. Sampogne also received trophies in the talent, photogenic, top model and “best in class” categories, as well as the “people’s choice,” “directors” and “star” awards. Sampogne stated that her most valued award was the “Friendship Award,” which was given to the contestant with a positive attitude and her compassion to help others.
