You spoke, we listened! Votes came in from across the Abingtons for our annual Readers' Choice awards and we are proud to announce the winners in this week's edition. Congratuations to everyone and a special thank you to everyone who voted.

If shopping's your thing, the best accessory store honors went to Treat while the best consignment store was The Avenue. Talbot's was named the best clothing store and the best jeweler is The Jewelry Room. Everything Natural was named the best place to buy gifts. The best shoe store is Soul to Sole and the best source for antiques is Carriage Barn. The best specialty food store is Caravia and the best grocery store is Gerrity's. The best health food can be found at Everything Natural.

Michael Alexander was named the best artist in the Abingtons. White's Country Floral was named best florist while Corky's was named the best garden center. Readers felt the best festival was the Clarks Summit Festival of Ice and the best community park is the South Abington Park. The best non-profit was the Waverly Community Playground. Guy Cali was named best wedding photographer and the best travel agent was Abington Travel. The best professional party deejay was EJ the DJ.

If you're looking for a good place to stash your cash, PNC was named best bank. Edward Jones was named best financial service. Diane Calabro was named best realtor.

If food's your thing, the best Asian restaurant, according to readers, is Formosa while the best Italian restaurant is Colarusso's. The best bakery was Beta Bread. The best breakfast restaurant is the Sunrise Café and the best brunch restaurant is Patsel's. The best burger can be found at the Glenburn Diner and the best cheese steak is at Fiorillo's. Armetta's was named the best caterer and the Gourmet was named the best diner as well as the best lunch restaurant. The best dessert can be found at J.J. Bridjes. The best hoagies are at Nickie's Fabulous Hoagies and the best ice cream is at Manning's. The best pasta award goes to Dino and Francesco's and the best pizza award goes to Colarusso's. Damon's won for both the best restaurant and the best place to dine with kids while the best new eatery award went to Mamma Mia's. Patsel's won the award for the best restaurant wine selection and Bazil won for the best romantic restaurant. The best server in the Abingtons is Kim Howell of J.J. Bridjes.

J.J. Bridjes was also the winner in the best place for live music category. The best bar food award went to the State Street Grill, as did the award for the friendliest bar. The best bartender is Joe McGrath of McGrath's Pub in Dalton. Armetta's serves the best wings in the Abingtons. The best place for a family-fun night out is Lahey Family Fun Park.

The best beer distributor is Summit Beverage. The best cup of coffee can be found at Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks boasts the best specialty coffee.

If you're looking to get fit, the best fitness center was Brown's Gym. Birchwood won for best Pilates and Jaya Yoga won as the best yoga studio. The best golf course is the Scranton Country Club.

In need of specialized services? The best auto repair shop in the Abingtons was Dixon Automotive while Butler's Sunoco was named the best gas station. Ms. Rudzinski of Abington Heights Middle School was named best middle-school teacher. Coach Bianchi of Abington Heights High School was named best high-school coach.
