What brings you to the library today?

I was facilitating an essential oils program.

How do you use the library?

Aside from facilitating classes, I’m also a student, so I have been able to use the library for research and resources for my education.

Do you remember the first time you came to the library?

Yes, I was about seven years old when I first went to my local library in Massachusetts. I remember it was a public library and it was an old building. I was thrilled that I could pick out any book that I wanted there.

Why do you believe libraries are important?

If you can’t read, it affects so many other parts of your life. I love to read and learn. The library is a safe learning environment that has so much to offer. It’s a place where you can try a new class or a new book genre.

There are programs for all ages, too. The enrichment and social experience is so important, and I appreciate the friendly staff and everything they do to make the library what it is.
