LA PLUME — Keystone College will hold the following events this month.

Wednesdays, Sept. 5, 12, 19 and 26 and Fridays, Sept. 7, 14, 21 and 28, 7:30-9:30 p.m. Thomas G. Cupillari ’60 Observatory, Fleetville. The fall series of public lectures and observing sessions. The programs are free and open to the public with no registration required. Observation depends on the weather. Contact Jo-Ann Kamichitis, observatory director at 570- 945-8402 for more information.

Thursdays, Sept. 6 and 20, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Transfer Thursdays. Transfer students interested may bring college transcripts for an instant admissions decision and transfer credit evaluation. Application fees are waived. Appointment times available at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Campus tours are only offered during the 11 a.m. or 1 p.m. appointment time. Saturday, Sept. 8, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday Visit. Perspective students’ visit will include an information session, followed by a campus tour and the opportunity to meet one-on-one with an admissions counselor. Friday, Sept. 14, 7 p.m. Art of Combat, Theatre in Brooks at Keystone College. Jared Kirby, Fight Director at Art of Combat, New York City, will present a seminar on European swordsmanship.

Saturday, Sept. 15, 8 a.m. Art of Combat, Theatre in Brooks at Keystone College. Jared Kirby, Fight Director at Art of Combat, New York City, will present a day-long workshop on stage combat.

Thursday, Sept. 20, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. American Red Cross Blood Drive, Hibbard Campus Center at Keystone College. The Center for Civic Engagement will host this American Red Cross blood drive.

Thursday, Sept. 27, 7 p.m. Theatre in Brooks at Keystone College, The History of Keystone College and Book Launch.
